Extreme Silence from TOMY is the most fun you can have without making a sound. Quick to set up, easy to learn and with endless possibilities and opportunities, it’s the game where crazy challenges have to be carried out in silence. Sounds simple until you have to try and beat the Decibel Detector. This cunning gizmo has a sound-sensitive microphone at one end and a colourful dial on the side. Players take turns to pick up a challenge card and carry out the specified task. Opponents watch the needle on the dial as it picks up every sound, hovering between green, amber and… red! Dip into the danger zone by making too much racket and the alarm will sound. Complete the task in extreme silence and you win the card. First to five cards is the no-noise champion. So, if you think you can open a bag of crisps and munch away in silence, try it. Can you jump off a chair, tear a piece of paper, fill a jar with pasta shapes, or whisper a song loudly enough so others can recognise a tune - all without setting off the Decibel Detector? You can?
